Valmiki Tiger Reserve is a wild paradise located in the northernmost corner of Bihar, in the West Champaran district. It is Bihar's only national park and tiger reserve! Nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas, it shares its border with Nepal's Chitwan National Park. Spanning 898 square kilometers, it is home to majestic Royal Bengal Tigers, wild elephants, leopards, deer, colorful peacocks, and rare birds. The river Gandak flows alongside it, making the landscape beautiful.
