Privacy Policy for Children's Data
Last Updated: 6/30/2026
At Mihu's Robotics & Coding Center, the privacy and security of our students are our highest priorities. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information, specifically focusing on data belonging to children under the age of 13.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information from students, solely with explicit parental consent:
- Student's First Name and Age.
- Parent's Name and WhatsApp contact number.
- Photographs of the student's physical projects/builds (e.g. LEGO models, circuits).
- Optional short audio voice clips of the student explaining their project.
2. How We Use the Information
The data collected is used exclusively for educational reporting and parent communication:
- To generate AI-assisted feedback and digital portfolios of the student's progress.
- To securely share these "Proof of Progress" updates directly with the parent via WhatsApp.
- We do not sell, rent, or share children's personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Parental Rights & Consent
We strictly require a signed consent form from a parent or guardian before capturing any photos or voice clips.
- Parents can revoke this consent at any time.
- Parents have the right to request the deletion of all data, photos, and voice clips related to their child.
4. Data Security
All digital evidence (photos, audio) is stored securely on encrypted cloud servers with strict Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC). Only authorized facilitators and the student's respective parent can access these files.
5. Contact Us
If you have questions about this privacy policy or wish to revoke consent and delete your child's data, please contact the center administrator directly.
