The Vishwa Shanti Stupa in Rajgir is a majestic white peace monument standing 120 feet tall atop the scenic Ratnagiri Hills. Built in 1969 with the help of Japanese Buddhist monk Nichidatsu Fujii, it is a symbol of non-violence and world peace. The stupa is adorned with four beautiful golden statues of Lord Buddha representing his birth, enlightenment, teaching, and death. To reach this hilltop monument, visitors can take a thrilling ride on India's oldest single-seater aerial ropeway cable car, gliding high above beautiful green valleys!
